Mexican food is one of the hardest things for us to get right when eating out. We’re always looking for a place that really delivers, and this tiny pop-up taco shop turned out to be a hidden gem.

Classic Street Tacos
The tacos were simple and classic—two tortillas with your choice of carne asada, fish or cheek meat.
From there, you could add as much diced onion and cilantro as you wanted, along with your choice of green or red chili.
And that chili was no joke.
It easily set my mouth on fire for a good five minutes afterward.
At around $1.60 per taco, these weren’t fancy tacos from some sit-down Mexican restaurant. It was a tiny pop-up serving straightforward street tacos, and sometimes that’s exactly what you’re looking for.

Mike is one half of Couples Dining Out. He’s all about seafood, Chinese food, and BBQ, although ribs don’t make the cut very often because his goatee usually pays the price. Give him a cold blonde beer to wash it all down and he’s happy. And dessert? Unless there’s pie involved, he’ll probably pass.
