Togo’s

Togo's Time for Lunch!

I finally get to review one of my all time favorite places. But first, a little background about this franchise. In 1971 a young college student with a big appetite and a little bit of money bought a small sandwich shack in San Jose Ca.

Togo’s has a variety of sandwiches to choose from and they have specials all week long. One of the things I love about this place is, they weigh the amount of meat that goes into your sandwich. They don’t eyeball or guess how much should go in then fill the rest of your sandwich with sides. When they are done, your sandwich is bulging with greatness.

We got the combo meals. That is chips and a drink. I always choose the #9, Hot Pastrami! I picked the Cheetos as my side.

The wife got a regular size Turkey Avocado on honey oat bread. She wanted to try out the Sea Salt & Vinegar Chips. It worked out because her sandwich was so packed that some of the avocado fell out and she used it as a dip with her chips.

But lets not stop there, they also serve soup. I love the cheddar and broccoli, hmm hmm good.

If your ever in the area of the Villagio shopping center, stop by and treat your taste buds to some great food. If you have any room left, there is a Baskin Robbins inside as well!
