I’m not much of an egg eater, so finding a good breakfast place can be hard for me. One morning, I was awoken by my hubby shaking me and saying, “I found a breakfast place that has vegetarian meal options!”
Well, that got my attention.
Off we went to the Clovis area. We arrived fairly early in the morning, and Sandy’s Country Junction was already bustling with people. Being in the heart of Old Town Clovis, the restaurant definitely has a cowboy theme going on.
REVIEW AT A GLANCE
Location: California
City: Fresno
Craving: Eggs & Omelets, Cinnamon Rolls
So Many Breakfast Choices
We were immediately seated and started looking over the menu. It was so hard for me to pick what I wanted to eat! In the end, I chose egg whites with country potatoes, wheat toast, and a cinnamon roll on the side.
Mike’s Mountain of Gravy
Mike decided on the Boarding House Skillet with biscuits and gravy. I was shocked by how much gravy came with those biscuits. I couldn’t even see them under that mound of gravy!
Breakfast and a Flea Market
Overall, the place was pretty good. The staff was helpful and friendly, there was basically no wait (woohoo for us) and parking was a breeze.
To top off the morning, there was a local flea market going on down the street. I love walking around Old Town Clovis, so of course we had to check that out too.
We’d love to hear if you’ve tried Sandy’s Country Junction and what you thought.

Jen
Jen is one half of Couples Dining Out. She loves pasta, a great salad, and believes dessert should be eaten first because why risk running out of room? She loves trying new places with Mike, but if something looks good on her plate, order your own. She’s not sharing.
