Hi there! We’re Mike and Jen, aka Hubby & Wife. After years of putting our kids first, we realized that we need time to ourselves as well. It was hard to set aside “Date-night” weekly or even monthly because of our busy schedules. Now that our kids are grown we are able to go do what I like to call “Date Day”. We not only set aside a couple hours to enjoy each others company but the whole day. During that time we notice that though there are restaurants everywhere, not all are perfect for a couple wanting to relax and enjoy the meal without feeling rushed. We like to focus on a more adult atmosphere for better relaxation and enjoyment.
We wander the city with a plan for the day and sometimes none at all. During our time out we may go to the park, movies, beach or just window shop, and also love finding great places to eat as well. Finding great places to eat at can be difficult because the hubby is the food lover with a focus on meat and the wife is picky with the focus on eating healthier and a sweet tooth.
